Creating Your Very Own Parfume - The right way

So how would you like to be able to make your very own parfume? It's really not as hard as many would think. If actually only requires a few components that can be bought at at some store near you.
Keep in mind that It'is important when wearing fragrance that everything doesn't smell good on everybody. A scent that I may love others may find repulsive. With that in mind it really is crucial when mixing and making parfume you use what will works best with your own natural scent., as every individual has a natural body scent, no I don't mean stinky body odor but we all have a natural essence which varios from person to person. Scientists have often shown that natural body scent plays a key role in determining whether we find somebody attractive or not. For a lot less money and a only a few ingredients, you can make your own customized parfume that will compliment you and it's fun to make at the same time. Not to mention a whole lot cheaper than if you had to go buy it at some fancy shop.

All parfume start with a common formula of 14 to 36 percent of essential oil, 5-6 percent of distilled water and 70 to 83 percent of pure alcohol, such as vodka, and various other high percentage spirits. The essential oil can of course be replaced with fragrance oil for a less pricey scent. These oils can be found easily in a craft stores, larger malls, health food stores or at special stores near like, or online at shops like dame parfume.
It is a good idea to store your fragrance in glass or plastic container and seal the air in. Most regular craft stores will have containers with a spray top option that you can purchase. You might also be able to locate some actual perfume bottles at certain flea markets or second hand shops, at least these are some good places to start looking for these or you could try some of the online shops.

Don't be afraid of a little experimenting, none of the components are too expensive and it often takes a few tries to get just the perfect scent for you.

When you set out to begin, I would recommend mixing together ¼ cup of pure vodka to about 6 drops of essential fragrance or oil of your own choice. Then determine how robust you want the scent to be, let the mixture stay there anywhere from 24 hours up to a month or longer if possible. The longer it sits, the stronger it will be so it depends on what kind of parfume you are aiming for. When done and after your fragrance has sat for your chosen amount of time, simply add 2 tablespoons of distilled water. If you find that the parfume is a bit too strong, you can then easily add more water to get your preferred fragrance strength. A trick to making your scent last longer, add a about a tablespoon of glycerin to your mixture. As you most likely know glycerin is a neutral, sweet-tasting, colorless, thick liquid that freezes to a gummy paste and has a very high boiling point. Glycerin can be easily be dissolved into water or alcohol. It can be found at health stores and certain vitamin shops as well, so start with looking around there. When glycerin is added to water and alcohol, it will remain liquid, and assist all of the ingredients to meld together much faster and efficiently in this case. One of the best ingridiences for this is geranium oil which got just the right properties to make the scent stand out from the others and give that special flavour to your parfume.

You should then be ready to begin start blending your fragrance/essential oils to build your unique scent, just be aware of these 3 important stages of scented oil. The first is the base stage, this level will of course last the longest on the skin. The base level will include oils like white roses, vanilla, cinnamon, and sandalwood. The second level is considered the center stage, this stage adds to the scent for a some time; however it won't last as long as the base stage. The middle stage
includes oils such as lemongrass, geranium, ylang-ylang, rose buds, neroli and sandelwood. The last and final stage is the primary level, which is exactly what it says it is, and that is the top scent. The primery levels lasting point is not a long as the other 2 levels of course, but it does add to the over all scent considerably. Top level stage can include oils like rose, lavender, jasmine, bergamot, and orchard. When putting together your unique fragrance and you're combing more than one scent, add the base level oil first, followed by the middle level oil, and finish it off with the primary oil to make it perfect for your needs. You might even end up with a scent that's even more to your liking than many of the expensive brands out there.

The simple smell of something can completely alter your whole mood in no time. Jasmine and lavender to mention some, tend to cause calm and help in sleeping. The smell of orange, roses and ylang ylang have the ability to ease anger in certain individuals, and sandalwood and grapefruit can help when it comes to fighting fear. If you simply need a boost of confidence, try rosemary. Frankincense, rose, and bergamot help relieve depression, and if you would like to increase memory powers give black pepper and peppermint a try. You will be surprised to see how effective it really is, often the result will surprise you in a positive way.

Consider all of  these things in mind when you create your unique parfume scent well make a world of difference in the process ,and could very likely keep you in a nice mood, saving you tons of money and making you smell good at the same time.
